the toilets are very dirty to the point sometimes of no return! We have saved property managers and landlords
thousands of dollars from replacing new toilets in their units.
Today I will share how we got a very dirty toilet clean and the steps we used to save this property manager from
having to replace the toilets in a rental property in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. To get an idea of what the before &
after of the toilet looks like take a look at the pictures. brace yourselves it isn’t pretty!
Because we specialize in rental property cleaning and move out move in cleaning services we get these types of
heavily soiled toilets all the time, some are worse than others of course, but we pride ourselves in restoring
these types of toilets. Below are the steps we used in getting this toilet clean known as a move out cleaning.
Steps To Clean A Dirty Toilet
- Spray toilet down with bathroom cleaner, the rim, the tank top, etc..
- Pour toilet bowl cleaner inside of the toilet, because this toilet was heavily soiled we had to use
a commercial toilet bowl cleaner. - Let cleaner sit for 30 minutes
- Start wiping down the outside of the toilet making sure to not cross-contaminate we use
paper towels. - Scrub the inside of the bowl with a toilet brush to remove the buildup, if the build up is
not coming clean with the brush we use a pumice stone to scrub the inside of the bowl. - Repeat until the bowl comes clean.
For this particular toilet we had to repeat the process several times because it was so bad. We scrubbed
it for about an hour to get it clean. I have to say this was the worse one ever, but we got it clean!!!!
