How To Clean Your Shower Door Tracks

We clean a lot of shower doors in my house cleaning business. But the one thing that a lot of our clients
want to know is how to clean the shower door tracks.  You can’t door a deep cleaning on your shower
without cleaning the shower door tracks. So today we’ll give you some tips on how to keep the tracks
clean.

Shower Door Tracks

If you have gunk build up in your shower door tracks, here is a Eco friendly way to keep them clean.
The shower door tracks are the most neglected area in our shower that we often forget to clean.
You’ll Need These Supplies:

• Vinegar
• A old toothbrush for scrubbing
• Paper towels or a microfiber cloth
• Spray bottle filled with water for rinsing

First things first is to stop up any holes with paper towels. Then pour the vinegar in the tracks.
Let the vinegar sit for 30 minutes or so.  Make sure to open a window or turn on the air vents
for ventilation because the smell of the vinegar can be strong.  When the 30 minutes are up
take your toothbrush and scrub the tracks, all the gunk & goo will start to come off the tracks.

For the tight spots on the tracks use a Q-tip to clean the track. Then take your spray bottle
and spray the tracks to rinse it.  Viola! It should look much better now.  I hope you enjoyed
