How To Clean Your Garbage Can Indoors

We all know that keeping our garbage can clean and sanitized helps to keep our home smelling fresh.
It’s not the most glorious home cleaning chore but hey somebody has to do it right? Today I will give
tips on how to clean your garbage can indoors.

Clean Your Garbage Can (Indoors)

1. The first thing you need to do is start off my taking out the trash, we can’t even begin to
   start to clean your garbage can indoors with first emptying the garbage can.

2.  Spray the out side of the garage can with your favorite cleaner.

3.  Spray the inside of the garbage can with the cleaner

4.  Next you need to add a deodorizer to the garbage can such as Lysol or you can sprinkle
a cup of baking soda in the garbage can.

5.  While the interior of the garbage can is soaking take a clean microfiber cloth and wipe
down the outside of the garbage can.

6.  Then take a sponge or a cloth and scrub the inside of the garbage can thoroughly.

7.  Then you can use a garden hose to rinse out of the garbage can or if you have a
kitchen hose you can use that.

8.  Take a dry microfiber cloth and dry the outside & inside of the garbage can.

(Tip) Before you replace the can with a new trash bag, put newspaper at
the bottom to help with leakage and to keep your garbage can fresh.
