Here we will share tips and tools on the best ways to clean blinds.  Window blinds are always the
last thing you want to clean when you are deep cleaning your home.  They are the most time
consuming house cleaning chore we dread! However using its not as bad as it appears to be.

When is the last time you took a cleaning cloth and slid it across your blinds?  If you open up
your blinds and you see dust piled up on dust falling from your window blinds that’s a sign
its time to clean your blinds.  When your blinds are clean you will notice all of your allergies
will clear up and there will no more dust particles floating through the air of your home.

Best Ways To Clean Blinds

Here we will share with you how we keep our clients blinds maintained and dust free.

• Pour some vinegar in a bowl put an old sock on your hand and dip the sock in
  the vinegar swipe your hand across the top and bottom of the blinds, or side to
  side.  For wood blinds you can use a microfiber rag to reduce static , plus the
  microfiber cloths pick up dust better.

• Take blinds down ( this to me is the most difficult method) but if you blinds are
  really dirty this method may be for you.  When you take the blinds down you
  can lay them flat outside on the grass or the patio, Grab a bucket and put some
  hot water and add about 3 drops of dish liquid.  Take a microfiber cloth and
  scrub or wipe down the blinds from top to bottom or side to side, this works
  for aluminum , plastic, or wood blinds.  Let the blinds dry and hang back up.

• If you blinds aren’t too bad then you can use vacuum them with an attachment.

After you have gotten your blinds clean, the main thing to do is make sure you maintain
them by dusting them weekly using a simple duster.  That’s all there is to it! These are
