If you are anything like me then coming home to a clean home makes life
much easier, and things run smoothly when everything is neatly in place.
Today I will share some of our speed cleaning tips, these little tips will
save you time and money in the long run, and we all could use more
time in the day.

Speed Cleaning Tips Checklist

There may be times when you will have family or friends call and
say that they are coming over and your house  is a mess.We don’t
want our guests walking into a dirty house so this 30 minute
cleaning checklist will help get your common areas in your home
clean in no time. The trick is to stay on top of your house cleaning
so you won’t have to panic when you have guests coming over.

Do these 3 speed cleaning tips are designed to to quickly get you
prepared for your guests and visitors so that you can relax!

Gather Your Speed Cleaning Tips Supplies

When it comes to speed clean you don’t need a lot of supplies the
less you have the better.  Let’s get started:

• Grab something to put your supplies in a bin or something
• Rags to just with ( I suggest microfiber they hold dust well)
• All purpose cleaner
• Disinfecting bathroom cleaner
• Windex for mirrors
• Toilet bowl cleaner
• Mop & vacuum cleaner
• Trash bags

Start at one end of your home I usually start in the Master bedroom
and work my way to the other areas of the home such as the living
room, kitchen, etc.  Make sure to take the trash bag with you in
each room so that you can pick up trash as you go from room to
room.

Everything in your house has to have a home so as you speed
clean make sure you are quickly putting things in their proper
place. You can use storage bins or laundry baskets  for this.
(This should take 5 or 10 minutes)

Use your microfiber rags and quickly dust furniture, if you
have glass then after dusting you can clean your glass. You
want to save the mopping & vacuuming for last.

Bathroom Cleaning

• Squirt toilet bowl cleaner around the rim and let sit
• Spray the bowl with your disinfecting bathroom cleaner
• Wipe down sinks, and counter tops, tubs & showers
• Use a toilet brush and quickly clean the bowl
• Wipe down top and rim, and bottom of the toilet
• Clean mirrors
• Mop & vacuum your way out of the bathroom

Living Room/ Dining Room

Pick up everything off the floors such as shoes, clothes,
magazines. If there is any trash use the trash bag and put
all trash in there. Dust everything quickly, spray some of
the all purpose cleaner on the rag and wipe down tables,
dining chairs, and furniture.

Kitchen

Clean your counter tops put everything away, then spray
the counter top with the all purpose cleaner and wipe it
down.  Put all the dirty dishes that are in the sink in the
dishwasher, or if  you don’t use one you can quickly
hand wash them.  You can also wash the posts & pans
by hand as well.

Spray the top of the stove and wipe down quickly, wipe
down the fridge and dishwasher as well.

Time to Finish Up

• Vacuum and mop the floors in the living room
  dining room
• Vacuum carpets and rugs
• Clean any glass mirrors
• Put away any items they need to be put away
