1. The first thing to do is get all the toys that are washable. Disinfect washable plastic toys with a solution of ½ cup Clorox® Regular-Bleach per gallon of water. Soak for 5 minutes, rinse and air dry.  Then Put away.
2. Clean your children’s  toys according to instructions, keep in mind that many of the toys can simply go right along side your dishes in the dishwasher.
3.  For battery operated toys that cannot be soaked in water, use a dry towel to wipe them off with your bleach solution, making sure they are not wet.
4. For dust mites that are on your kids stuffed toys,  place stuffed toys in the freezer for at least a few hours, or you can just put them in the laundry and wash them on the gentle cycle.
